This four day
journey will occur in the Mount Crawford Forest with the route being
established during the planning session.
The first two days
will be your Practice Journey, in which you will hone your skills before
the Qualifying Journey. The second evening will include a debrief and
route planning session for the Qualifying Journey which will begin on
the third day
Suitable for ages
14-17.
Compulsory Planning session – Tuesday, 3rd
of October
·
1.5 hour pre-trip planning session, all instruction, maps and compasses,
a stove, fuel, tent, sleeping mat, raincoat, transport and highly experienced
and accredited bushwalking supervisors for the journey.
MONDAY, 9th of
October - FRIDAY 12th of October 2023
In addition,
participants spend the day outdoors experiencing the beautiful nature of South
Australia, making new friends and gaining life long skills in a safe and
controlled environment.
